Curriculum Design
Join Escuela Pura Vida's open community! Our thematic sessions integrate movement, yoga, play, dance, arts, crafts, and songs, making Spanish learning fun and effective for everyone.
Ages 3-6
This course is designed for pre-kinder and kinder children who are interested in learning the basics of the Spanish language in a fun and active classroom. Students will be introduced to the fundamental elements of the Spanish language through dance, yoga, song, art, cultural traditions, creative play, movement, and communication. This class is structured to make learning fun, while introducing children to classroom routines and expectations. Children will be taught introductory motor skills and general classroom skills; how to produce quality coloring, practice writing their letters, proper gluing techniques, and classroom etiquette. Children will be taught in both Engligh and the target language.
Multi-age Class
This course is designed for children ages 3 and up who are interested in learning the basics of the Spanish language in a fun and active classroom. Students will be introduced to the fundamental elements of the Spanish language through songs, art, dance, yoga, cultural traditions, creative play, movement, age-appropriate worksheets, and communication. This class will foster an opportunity for older children to become leaders and teachers within the classroom environment.
Ages 6 and up
This course is designed for elementary school children who are interested in learning the basics of the Spanish language in a fun and active classroom. Students will be introduced to the fundamental elements of the Spanish language through songs, art, dance, yoga, cultural traditions, creative play, movement, age-appropriate worksheets, and communication. This class is structured to make learning fun while developing problem solving skills, producing quality work, and further developing writing and reading comprehension. Ideally, students will be able to respond to basic communication cues and hold basic conversations in the target language.
Adult Class for Beginner-Intermediates
This course is designed for adults who are eager to learn a second language who have some background knowledge of the Spanish language. Classes are taught in an open-concept atmosphere with an informal approach to make all students feel comfortable and engaged while learning. This class is a great complement for parents whose children are enrolled in our Spanish program. Learning together as a family is FUN!
Adult Class for Beginners
This course is designed for adults who are eager to learn a second language who have little to no background knowledge of the Spanish language. Classes are taught in an open-concept atmosphere with an informal approach to make all students feel comfortable and engaged while learning. This class is a great complement for parents whose children are enrolled in our Spanish program. Learning together as a family is FUN!
Private Tutoring
Our private tutoring program is tailored for learners of all ages and levels. Each session is customized to meet individual needs and goals, providing a focused, one-on-one learning experience. It's a flexible approach that adapts to your schedule and learning style.
Class Design
As an experienced Spanish teacher of all ages, Señorita Dafni has designed her Spanish studio and classes to be age appropriate and engaging for all students. Each class integrates a variety of well designed curriculum that includes physical movement, song, dance and hands-on project based learning. Children and adults will acquire knowledge of the Spanish language through circle activities, art, and play. Classes will be taught intimately in an open concept studio to ensure that each child is properly engaged and receives a rich education.
Course Parameters
Each course will meet one time per week. There are no make up classes or refunds for missed classes. Class dates and schedules are subject to change.
